First and foremost, this is a record of the life and times and adventures (or is it mis-adventures?) and events in my life. I write here primarily for myself, as it's literally a record for me of my life and how I feel at any given moment. Be it happy, sad, emo or whatever, this is primarily for myself. I don't ever intend to alarm anyone should I get all emo and stupid, so bear that in mind as you read. If something seems terribly off from whatever you've come to see as 'normal' for me, don't worry. It just means that I'm not feeling 'normal' at that given moment.

Now..a mini bio.

I live in a house with my better half here in Northern Oregon. We live in a nice, quiet neighborhood, we've got a back yard, we finally don't have to worry about parking. It's a pretty bitchin' place, and the fact that it's close to work doesn't hurt a lot, either.

I'm a performance junkie in a bad way. Been working at motorcycle shops since I was 16, as a matter of fact, and working on my own bikes a lot longer. I own a great all-arounder Suzuki and a few other two-wheeled toys as well. One of these days, I'll get around to officially having a car but for the time being, all motorcycle, all the time!

I also like to cook. A lot. I'm not bad according to my friends, and a few things I've made have even been referred to as 'damned good!' My influences are mostly Italian and American with elements of Asian and Mexican, but there's almost nothing I can't do in the kitchen. I've been getting back into trouble with the barbecue lately, so I've been honing my skills at both grilling and smoking. Smoking meat takes a long while, but there's something zen about sitting outside with a drink for several hours, just tending a fire. The results make it worth the wait, too!
